British driver Nathan Tye enjoyed a standout weekend at MotorLand Aragón during Round 3 of the 2026 Spanish F4 Championship.
Competing in temperatures that climbed to almost 40°C, Tye demonstrated impressive consistency throughout the event, finishing on every step of the podium across the three races. The Drivex driver opened the weekend with second place in Race 1 before converting pole position into victory in Race 2. He completed his podium collection with a third-place finish in Sunday's final race, securing a valuable haul of championship points.
Podium honours were shared among several of the championship's leading contenders. Nacho Tuñón took victory in Race 1 ahead of Tye and Andrej Petrovic, while Tye responded with a Race 2 win from Kasper Schormans and Tuñón. In the final race of the weekend, Petrovic secured victory ahead of Noah Monteiro, with Tye rounding off his impressive performance with third place. The weekend produced close racing throughout the field, with drivers and teams battling intense heat both on and off the circuit. MotorLand's demanding layout tested drivers throughout the weekend, rewarding consistency and racecraft.
While different drivers shared the race victories, Tye emerged as one of the standout performers, combining speed, maturity and composure throughout the weekend. Tye leaves Aragón fourth in the championship standings on 86 points, 14 behind leader Noah Monteiro. Rocco Coronel and Kasper Schormans are tied for second on 92 points.
The Spanish F4 Championship now heads to Portimão for Round 4, where Tye will look to build on a strong Aragón weekend that saw him collect a full set of podium finishes. With just 14 points separating championship leader Monteiro from fourth-placed Tye, the title battle remains finely poised as the season continues.
