The final day of the WorldSBK Aragón Round delivered another action-packed programme at MotorLand Aragón, with riders facing hot conditions and a demanding schedule featuring the Tissot Superpole Race and Race 2.
Championship leader Nicolò Bulega continued his remarkable run of form on Sunday morning, securing victory in the 10-lap Superpole Race after a close battle with Aruba.it Racing Ducati teammate Iker Lecuona. Sam Lowes completed the top three to continue a strong weekend for Ducati machinery.
Race 2 saw Bulega once again prove untouchable at the front, extending his championship advantage with another commanding victory. Lecuona followed home in second place, while Sam Lowes secured his second podium finish of the weekend in third, completing an identical top three to the Superpole Race.
Away from the results, the final day of the Aragón Round showcased the intensity of the WorldSBK paddock, from the tension of the starting grid to the high-speed action around the 5.077km MotorLand circuit. Teams, riders and mechanics worked relentlessly throughout the day as another memorable weekend of racing came to a close.
Attention now turns to the next round of the championship, with Bulega leaving Aragón having further strengthened his position at the top of the standings after another dominant performance in Spain.
